Plot Summary: The sequel to the $100 million
worldwide hit, "Underworld: Evolution" continues the saga of war between the
aristocratic Death Dealers and the barbaric Lycans (werewolves). The film traces
the beginnings of the ancient feud between the two tribes as Selene (Kate
Beckinsale), the beautiful vampire heroine, and Michael (Scott Speedman), the

If you liked "Underworld," you'll like "Underworld: Evolution". It's
more of the same. You have more vampires shooting werewolves, more of
Michael's hybrid character, more horror/action, and more of Kate
Beckinsale's shiny butt. They essentially stick to the same formula that
worked for the first film with very little departure....more

It’s Bloodier! It’s Gorier! It’s More Action Packed! And...It’s Sexier!
The truth is in the blood and the blood ties between vampires and
werewolves are closer than you might think. UNDERWORLD: EVOLUTION
accomplishes something most sequels never do - it’s more entertaining
and doesn’t suck - unless you’re a vampire. There is also some very dark
humor and moments that will have some people covering their eyes while

Underworld: Evolution is simply pointless. The film’s original
concept--a sort of Romeo and Juliet between vampires and werewolves--is
indeed intriguing, but to go beyond that is redundant. No, it’s obvious Evolution is a case of greed, a sequel drummed up because
studio execs believe they can milk more money out of the fans of the
original movie. I don’t think its going to work out as well the second
time around...more
